HISTORY

1939	Founded under the name of “Isuzu Industries”.
1945	Renamed “Isuzu Manufacturing”.
1949	Reorganized into “ISUZU MFG. CO., LTD.” .
1959	Devastated by the Ise Bay Typhoon.
1964	Opened the Hekinan Factory.
1977	Awarded the Most Inventive Prize of Japan Invention Promotion Association for our marine product machines.
1981	Visited China at the invitation of the National Young Men’s Association for a summit meeting.
1981	Accepted four technical trainees from China.
1984	Reached 100 units in the manufacture of low pressure die casting machines, and 40,000 units in the manufacture of fully automatic marine products machines.
1986	Accepted four technical trainees from China.
1991	Opened the Akita Factory.
1993	Awarded an official commendation for excellency from the Small and Medium Enterprises Center Corporation in the Tokai district.
1997	Accepted ten technical trainees from China.
2001	Obtained ISO9001 certification.
2002	Reached 500 units in the manufacture of low pressure die casting machines.
2007	Obtained ISO14001 certification.
2007	Received the technology and development award from Toyota Motor Corporation for our low pressure die casting machines.
2008	Obtained “Aichi Quality Certification” .
